In 2014 the I.A.S.S. Education Committee enhanced their training program by introducing the Snow Academy.

What is the Snow Academy?

AAAE-LogoCertified by the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) the International Aviation Snow Symposium (IASS) Snow Academy features basic and advanced classes designed to provide current, relevant and focused training for snow and ice control measures at airports, including FAA FAR Part 139 certificated airports.

The Basic Airport Winter Operations Specialist (BAWOS)
