The 49th Annual NEC/AAAE International Aviation Snow Symposium (I.A.S.S.), held April 18-22, 2015 in Buffalo, NY, set a new attendance record for a non-equipment year. The 2015 I.A.S.S. had 492 attendees and 64 exhibitors from across the United States and Canada.
Focused exclusively on airfield snow removal and winter operations, every spring the Snow Symposium provides a forum for the exchange of ideas on snow removal techniques, the latest communications, environmental, personnel trends in the industry, financial considerations, and safety during winter operations.
“The event alternates equipment and non-equipment years, with the equipment years traditionally having much higher attendance than the non-equipment years,” said Joe Guarino, co-chair of the 2015 Snow Symposium. “Due to the fact that we just set attendance records at the 49th, a non-equipment year, and next year is an equipment year and the 50th anniversary of the event, I think it’s safe to say the 2016 Snow Symposium will be the biggest ever!”
The 50th Annual International Aviation Snow Symposium will be April 23 – 27, 2016 in Buffalo, NY. Stay tuned to this website for the latest updates.
