The NEC/AAAE Snow Symposium is proud to announce a new award for the 2016-2017 season. The HEAVY HITTER award is designed to recognize an individual for their integral efforts as a part of your snow removal operations over this past season. The uniqueness of this awards lies in the merits of how it is awarded. A nominee could be virtually anyone on your staff: an operator who went above and beyond the call of duty, someone who effectively trained new personnel within your operation, an individual who sacrificed for others, or even someone in an administrative role who made sure that uniforms were cleaned and hot meals on the ready. The nominee is truly an individual in your operation who was able to take some of the burden off of you as a supervisor and be a HEAVY HITTER for the team. We are asking that you pleasesubmit a nomination from your airport for this award.
Deadline for submission is Friday, April 7th. Please return submissions to: email@example.com
The recipient will be based solely on supervisor nomination/merit and NOT the size of the airport or the amount of snowfall that they receive. Please encourage any other airports that you have contact with (large or small) to nominate someone if they have a deserving individual.
The tradition continues as the event committee prepares the contests for the top three prestigious awards to be presented at the 51st International Aviation Snow Symposium (I.A.S.S), April 22-26, 2017 in Buffalo, NY.
